Welsh Cycling are proud to host the Welsh Time Trial Championship 2019 in Ruthin. 

A challenging but fast 26 mile course around the outskirts of Ruthin.



Welsh Cycling's Road Race Championship will come to Ruthin for the first time this year, featuring the finish line on the town square.

Ruthin Carnival will be held on Saturday, 22 June this year, to start Ruthin Festival Week. 

Batalo Bermo band had already confirmed that they will be performing, and there will be a host of other entertainment during the day.

The parade of floats will leave at 11.30am, going through the town streets to Ruthin School, where the carnival opens at midday. 

The renowned outdoor theatre group ILLYRIA will be visiting Ruthin once again on Sunday, 23 June, to perform Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' in Nantclwyd House Gardens. 

The play, believed to be Shakespeare's last, is thought provoking, lyrical and raucously funny.

The line-up will include Bryn Fôn a'r Band, Candelas, Band Chwech, Skariad, Bwncath, Côr y Porthmyn, Joey Collins, Ellis Derby, Côr Ysgol Pen Barras, Fuchsia Jones and Denbighshire Youth Brass Band.
